Overview
You’ll be joining our small but passionate Cash for Kids Lancashire team, part of Bauer Media’s Audio UK division. We work closely with central partnerships, campaign and communications teams to deliver impactful fundraising projects that support disadvantaged children across the region. Our team is driven by purpose, creativity, and a shared commitment to making a real difference in the lives of young people.
The Difference you will make
As a Charity Fundraising Executive, you’ll be at the heart of our fundraising efforts, helping to deliver campaigns, events, and partnerships that raise vital funds for children affected by poverty, illness, neglect, or additional needs. You’ll support the Charity Manager in the day-to-day running of the charity, build relationships with local businesses and community groups, and play a key role in delivering our flagship campaign, Mission Christmas. Your work will directly impact the lives of children and families in need across Lancashire.
Your role
You’ll be responsible for supporting fundraising operations, building partnerships, and delivering engaging campaigns.
- Assist with administrative and financial tasks, including banking and grant applications.
- Develop and deliver fundraising campaigns and events.
- Build relationships with local businesses, schools, and community groups.
- Plan and execute the Mission Christmas campaign.
- Maintain strong communication with fundraisers and stakeholders.
- Keep the Cash for Kids website and social media updated with engaging content.
- Seek out media and influencer partnerships to raise awareness.
- Ensure Cash for Kids remains integral to Bauer Media locally.
The Skills you will bring
Required:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and presentation tools.
- Confident and enthusiastic with a hands-on approach.
- Proven experience in a sales or corporate environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when needed.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Solid understanding of social media platforms.
- Passion for charity work and community engagement.
- Creative mindset and willingness to speak up and contribute ideas.
- Experience in fundraising, events, or marketing.
Working Pattern/Location
This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, 9:00–5:30, based in Lancashire. Flexibility is available to suit the right candidate.
