Overview
As Associate Editor, you will produce fashion & luxury pages, covers, main stories, digital, video, and social content, delivering high-quality creative work that attracts traffic and engagement and supports both commercial and print success.
Key Responsibilities
- Run the Grazia fashion departments and collaborate with the Editor, Art Director and Digital Director.
- Deliver fashion pages to the Production Editor’s deadlines.
- Organise and supervise shoots that enhance the magazine’s reputation among readers and advertisers.
- Write compelling copy that garners national pick‑up, often in response to news events.
- Represent the brand at key industry events, including RTW shows in Milan and Paris.
- Maintain positive relationships with external parties such as photographers, stylists, agents, publicists, celebrities and advertisers.
- Ensure high standards of photography/models, nurture new talent and expand Grazia’s creative roster.
- Develop reader engagement through events such as shop promotions and digital platform initiatives.
- Deliver online fashion content that meets traffic, engagement, affiliate and other relevant targets.
- Deliver social fashion content that meets targets and pushes new boundaries.
- Collaborate with the digital division to explore revenue opportunities such as newsletters and new social channels.
- Adhere to all budgets, report expenditure, and produce mark‑ups and cost estimates as required.
- Manage, coach and develop the fashion team.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in the fashion and luxury world.
- Skilled writer and photographer; both words and shoots.
- Experience planning across digital and social, with production of print pages and flat‑planning.
- Extensive contacts within the fashion and luxury industries.
- Professional stakeholder management and ambassadorial representation of Grazia at external events.
