This holiday season we are looking for a Mission Christmas Warehouse Support to join us based in Edinburgh for Mission Christmas during the months of November and December. The Mission Christmas Warehouse Support has a vital and demanding role to play in making our mission a reality. These are temporary roles where you really will be playing Santa!

Our Team Cash for Kids is the charity of Bauer Media in the UK. Our mission is to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in our communities who are affected by poverty, illness, neglect or have additional needs. We believe that all children should be able to express their individuality, achieve their potential and live life to the full. We work with grassroots organisations that aim to make a difference to young lives, directly supporting families who often have nowhere else to go.

Our Mission Mission Christmas is the largest Christmas gift appeal in the UK. Our aim is to ensure every child wakes up to a present on Christmas morning; however, for many children, their family circumstances mean this may not be the case. Families living in poverty face the daily dilemma of whether to buy clothes for their children, to heat the house or to put food on the table. Christmas is a luxury they simply can’t afford. Rising costs have tipped many more families into financial hardship, and Christmas 2026 will see an even greater need for help from Mission Christmas.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Receive, sort and then prepare donated gifts.
  • Admin duties making telephone calls/emails and texts to beneficiaries.
  • Moving and lifting gifts.

What You’ll Bring:

  • A basic knowledge of the use of Office applications is essential, and an understanding of the main social media platforms.
  • Passion for wanting to make sure all children have that magical Christmas moment of opening a present.
  • You’ll be organised, flexible, enthusiastic and most of all LOVE CHRISTMAS!
  • You’ll also need to hold a current, full clean UK driving licence and have your own transportation.

This is a temporary position throughout the months of November and December to support Mission Christmas.

What’s in it for you:

  • You’ll have 28 days holiday, bank holidays & 2 volunteer days to use.
  • Your development matters, so access to our internal training provider – Bauer Academy, is a huge win.
  • We have enhanced Maternity/Adoption, Paternity and Shared Parental Leave Pay.
  • You’ll have the opportunity for flexible working.
  • And much more!

We are an international employer and equal opportunities are important to us. That's why we welcome everyone in their uniqueness, regardless of e.g. religion, gender, skin colour, disability in our house. We are committed to ensuring our recruitment process is inclusive and accessible to all. If you have a disability or a long-term health condition, and need us to make any reasonable adjustments or do anything differently during any stage of the recruitment process, please let us know by emailing careershub@bauermedia.co.uk.

If you have any feedback regarding our UK recruitment process, please email careershub@bauermedia.co.uk; we would love to hear from you.
