You’ll be joining Bauer Media Audio’s Social Video Hub to work on social media for Magic Radio, one of the UK’s most loved audio brands, entertaining millions of listeners across radio and digital platforms. Magic Radio is part of Bauer’s Audio portfolio and is a brand for people aged 35+, offering uplifting, feel-good music and moments that make everyday life brighter. Alongside Magic Radio, the wider family includes Magic Soul, Mellow Magic and Magic Musicals.
You’ll work closely with the Social Media Lead and Senior Social Media Producer in a collaborative, supportive team that values authenticity, creativity and good communication. In this hands‑on role, you’ll help shape how Magic Radio connects with its audience on social media, creating engaging, platform‑first content that reflects the brand’s personality and values. You’ll work with presenters, artists and guests to create content that entertains both loyal listeners and new audiences. From planning ideas to executing them yourself, your creativity and attention to detail will help deliver social content that builds community and cuts through across digital channels.
Your role
- As Social Media Producer, you’ll be responsible for planning, creating and publishing engaging social content across Magic Radio’s platforms, supporting day‑to‑day delivery as well as wider projects.
- Producing social content including videos, graphics, photography and written posts.
- Creating platform‑optimised content for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
- Engaging with audiences across social platforms in the Magic Radio tone of voice.
- Working from social content calendars to ensure consistent and timely posting.
- Monitoring social media trends, audience behaviour and platform updates.
- Supporting the Social Media Lead and Senior Social Media Producer with planning and projects.
- Ensuring all content aligns with Magic Radio brand guidelines.
- Live posting and content creation at events and shows, including out of hours when required.
- Working professionally with presenters, artists and external contributors.
The skills you will bring
- Professional experience working in social media and digital content.
- Strong understanding of social platforms, particularly Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
- Confidence shooting video and content on mobile devices.
- Ability to brief and direct presenters, guests and contributors.
- Experience planning and scheduling social content.
- Good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro, plus apps such as CapCut or Edits.
- Confident copywriting skills with the ability to write in the Magic Radio tone of voice.
- Strong editorial judgement and attention to detail.
- Good understanding of audience behaviour and what drives engagement.
Working Pattern / Location
This is a hybrid role, with 2–3 days per week based in our London office. There is an expectation that you’ll be flexible to work out of normal office hours when supporting shows or events.
