The Mission ChristmasHQ Co-ordinatorhas a vital and demanding role to play in making our mission a reality. These are temporary roles where you really will be playing Santa!

Our Team

Cash for Kids is the charity of Bauer Media in the UK.Our mission is to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in our communities who are affected by poverty, illness, neglect or haveadditionalneeds. We believe that all children should be able to express their individuality, achieve their potential and live life to the full. We work with grassroots organisations that aim to make a difference to young lives, directly supporting families who often have nowhere else to go.

Our Mission

Mission Christmas is the largest Christmas gift appeal in the UK. Our aim is to ensure every child wakes up to a present on Christmas morning, however for many children their family circumstances mean this may not be the case.

Families living in poverty face the daily dilemma of whether to buy clothes for their children, to heat the house or to put food on the table. Christmas is a luxury they simplycan’tafford. Rising costs have tipped many more families into financial hardship, and Christmas 2026will see an even greater need for help from Mission Christmas.

Whatyou’llbe doing

Gathering and sharing multimedia content to promote Mission Christmas on radio, social media, and digital platforms.

Overseeing Cash for Kids social media channels for your area (TikTok,Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn), posting daily updates, acknowledging supporters, encouraging donations, and responding to public inquiries.

Collect photos,audioand video content to bring Mission Christmas to life on our radio stations, socialmediaand digital platforms.

Receive,sortand then prepare donated gifts

Admin duties making telephone calls/emails and texts to beneficiaries.

Moving and lifting gifts.

WhatYou’llBring

A basic knowledge of the use of Office applications is essential, and an understanding of the main social media platforms

Passion for wanting to make sure all children have that magical Christmas moment of opening a present.You’llbe organised, flexible, enthusiastic and most of all LOVE CHRISTMAS!

You’llalso need to hold a current, full clean UK driving licence and have your own transportation.

Location: Belfast

This is a temporary position throughoutthe months of Novemberand December to support Mission Christmas.
