The Difference you will make
You will manage a team of Talent Acquisition Partners across the UK and EU while maintaining your own small portfolio of complex hires. You’ll be the vital link between our TA Partners and senior leadership within the LOB—translating strategy into execution while developing your team's capabilities. You will actively work on a small portfolio of mid‑to‑senior level searches across the Audio business, bringing deep recruiting expertise to challenging roles. Simultaneously, you’ll coach talent acquisition partners at different experience levels, helping them elevate their impact and grow their skills. Beyond day‑to‑day delivery, you’ll support strategic talent projects that drive change across the business. This requires genuinely understanding the opportunities and challenges facing Audio today—from digital transformation to evolving business models and processes—so you can be a credible partner in shaping our talent strategy and organisational capability. This role offers genuine leadership development for someone ready to step up. You’ll gain exposure to strategic workforce planning, contribute to operational decisions, and shape how we attract talent across the region.
Your role
- Full‑Cycle Recruitment & Delivery
- Own end‑to‑end recruitment for complex mid‑to‑senior roles across Audio, delivering ~2 high‑quality hires monthly while maintaining strong pipelines and competitive time‑to‑fill.
- Drive proactive sourcing, lead consultative stakeholder conversations, and navigate offer negotiations balancing candidate and business needs.
- Champion exceptional candidate experience that strengthens our employer brand at every touchpoint.
- Coach and develop Talent Acquisition Partners across UK/EU, elevating their sourcing capabilities, stakeholder influence, and closing skills.
- Provide hands‑on guidance on complex searches and act as first point of escalation for recruitment challenges.
- Conduct regular 1:1s and performance reviews, setting clear development goals and addressing performance issues promptly.
- Support onboarding of new TA team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Talent Advisory
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers, HR BPs, candidates, and external partners to act as trusted talent advisor.
- Shape role requirements and influence hiring decisions through market intelligence and competitive insights.
- Partner with TA Operations to manage PSL agency relationships, monitoring performance and ensuring quality delivery.
- Champion structured, inclusive hiring practices using data and insights to build credibility with senior stakeholders.
- Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
- Set and monitor DEI hiring goals with the Senior TA Manager, tracking progress across all recruitment activity.
- Embed inclusive practices throughout the recruitment lifecycle—from job descriptions to decision‑making frameworks.
- Analysis of diversity metrics to identify improvement opportunities and partner with external organizations to expand under‑represented talent pools.
- Data & Insights
- Own recruitment metrics (pipeline health, time‑to‑fill, offer acceptance, quality of hire, diversity data) and provide weekly reporting with strategic recommendations.
- Use data to identify bottlenecks, predict challenges, and proactively adjust strategies.
- Present quarterly updates to stakeholders, translating metrics into actionable insights.
- Process Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Identify friction points in the recruitment lifecycle and partner with TA Operations to implement solutions that improve efficiency and experience.
- Build best‑in‑class TA tools, templates, and playbooks that standardize excellence across markets.
- Lead regional talent acquisition projects including training initiatives, sourcing pilots, and process redesigns.
- Train managers on interviewing and onboarding processes.
The Skills you will bring
- Proven experience delivering full‑cycle recruitment for complex mid‑to‑senior roles, with consistent hiring outcomes and strong pipeline management.
- Strong sourcing capability combined with the ability to influence stakeholders and lead consultative hiring discussions.
- Demonstrated experience coaching and developing TA professionals, improving team performance and capability.
- Track record of building trusted relationships with hiring managers and HR, providing data‑led talent advisory.
- Experience embedding inclusive hiring practices and using diversity data to drive measurable improvements.
- Strong analytical skills with experience owning recruitment metrics and using insights to optimise hiring outcomes.
- Proven ability to improve recruitment processes, implement best practices, and deliver training to hiring teams.
Additional Responsibilities
- Travel to BMG sites, events, and career fairs as required.
- Present at workshops and attend events supporting DEI and Social Value initiatives.
Working Pattern/Location
Working pattern: Hybrid (1‑2 days per week onsite). Location: London, Peterborough, or Manchester.
