Mission Christmas Van Driver (Temporary)
This holiday season we are looking for Van Driver to join us for Mission Christmas in Brimingham.
Mission Christmas is the largest Christmas gift appeal in the UK. Our aim is to ensure every child wakes up to a present on Christmas morning, however for many children their family circumstances mean this may not be the case.
Families living in poverty face the daily dilemma of whether to buy clothes for their children, to heat the house or to put food on the table. Christmas is a luxury they simply can’t afford. Rising costs have tipped many more families into financial hardship, and Christmas 2023 will see an even greater need for help from Mission Christmas.
By uniting our community, we can bring some Christmas magic to all children, making sure they have the joy of a present to open on Christmas Day.
The Mission Christmas Van Driver has a vital role to play in making our mission a reality. This is a temporary role where you really will be playing Santa!
Main Responsibilities
- Collecting gifts from drop-off locations
- Occasional deliveries of gifts to beneficiaries
- Moving and lifting gifts.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for wanting to make sure all children have that magical Christmas moment of opening a present. You’ll be organised, flexible, enthusiastic and most of all LOVE CHRISTMAS!
You’ll also need to hold a current, full clean UK driving licence and have your own transportation.
This role is a temporary position that has the provisional dates of 17th November to 23rd December. Working hours are Mon-Fri 9am - 5pm. To express an interest in the role please apply now and we will contact you in within the next month.
