Join our Cash for Kids team in Belfast as a Charity Fundraising Executive! We’re looking for an ambitious, motivated self-starter with strong communication and organisational skills, some experience in project or event support, and a real passion for making a difference in the community. You will build local relationships with businesses & community groups as well as organise and deliver fundraising events throughout the year. It is essential that you have the energy, motivation and passion to help others. Having sales skills and experience in the fundraising/charity sector is an addition.
Our Team: How we enrich everyday life Cash for Kids is the in-house charity of Bauer Media in the UK. Working closely with our colleagues in both the radio & publishing divisions of Bauer, we fundraise all year round to enable us to award grants to help those most in need. We’re a passionate, fun, close-knit team, committed to helping children & young people who need us now more than ever.
The Difference you will make: As a Charity Fundraising Executive you will be building local relationships with businesses, organisations & community groups as well as delivering fundraising events throughout the year. This also includes project managing our annual Mission Christmas campaign, helping hundreds of thousands of children living in poverty across the UK.
Your role: Building & maintaining relationships is central to everything that we do at Cash for Kids. Whether that is internally with our Bauer Media colleagues, with our Cash for Kids team across the country or externally with local businesses and community groups. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Regional Charity Manager with the day to day running of the charity.
- Seeking out new partnership opportunities with local businesses, schools, universities and community groups.
- Developing & building existing partnerships & maintaining strong communication with fundraisers.
- Planning and delivering our biggest campaign of the year – Mission Christmas.
- Making Cash for Kids famous in the area by seeking out media partner & influencer partnership opportunities.
- Keeping the local Cash for Kids website & social media platforms updated.
- Manage your own set of KPIs and delivery on financial targets.
The Skills you will bring:
- A holder of a current, full clean UK driving licence.
- Experience in a similar role developing working relationships.
- Knowledgeable in social media platforms and able to use them effectively.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint).
- Flexible to work evenings/weekends when required.
Working Pattern/Location: This is a Hybrid role that supports a balance of working from home, our office in Belfast and in the field with our partners.
