The Difference You Will Make

As a Commercial Marketing Junior Designer, you will support the creation and delivery of high-quality, visually engaging materials that enable Bauer Media Advertising to communicate effectively with commercial partners. Through creativity, attention to detail and a strong understanding of visual communication, you will help translate ideas, data and messaging into clear and compelling design outputs across multiple platforms.

Your Role

You will support the Commercial Marketing team from both a creative and administrative perspective, delivering high-quality design work under the guidance of the Commercial Marketing Art Director. You will assist in producing a range of visual outputs including presentations, social media assets and motion content, ensuring consistency with Bauer Media Group brand guidelines. Alongside this, you will take part in ongoing training and development to build your expertise across design, tools and creative processes while contributing to team delivery.

Your Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the production and formatting of pitch decks, presentations and media packs
  • Building and updating PowerPoint presentations, translating content and data into clear, visually engaging slides
  • Supporting the creation of static assets and visual mock-ups in line with brand guidelines
  • Creating motion graphics and supporting basic video editing tasks under direction
  • Applying Bauer Media Group brand guidelines consistently across all outputs
  • Supporting the organisation and management of brand assets, including image libraries and templates
  • Maintaining shared folders and design resources to ensure consistency and easy access
  • Managing assigned tasks to deadlines, flagging risks and issues when needed
  • Collaborating with Commercial Marketing Executives and wider teams, taking on feedback constructively
  • Supporting the production of assets for internal and external campaigns, including events
  • Conducting quality checks to ensure outputs are accurate, consistent and on-brand
  • Ensuring materials meet accessibility and regulatory standards where required

The Skills You Will Bring (Required)

  • A strong understanding of core design principles such as layout, typography and visual hierarchy
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Ability to interpret and respond to creative briefs, asking questions where needed
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to take and apply feedback constructively
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
  • Experience creating motion graphics or basic video editing
  • Awareness of AI-supported design tools and how they can enhance creative output
  • Familiarity with workflow and collaboration tools (e.g. Monday.com, Trello)
  • Understanding of brand guidelines and visual identity systems
  • An interest in media, content and audience engagement

Working Pattern / Location

This role is full time and based in London within Bauer Media Advertising. It operates on a hybrid working model, combining time in our London office with remote working, in line with company policy and business needs.
