This role is UK‑based, with occasional travel to London and Peterborough (approximately 1–2 times per quarter). Potentially some international travel required on an ad‑hoc basis.

Our Team: You’ll be joining our Global Digital Workplace team, part of Bauer’s wider Enterprise Technology Group, working at the heart of how our 12,000+ colleagues around Europe connect, collaborate, and stay secure. You’ll be working alongside other Intune and M365 specialists, engineering leads, service owners and platform teams, all committed to improving how our people work every day through intuitive tooling, seamless device experiences, and great customer service.

The Difference you will make: In this role, you will be central to shaping and supporting Bauer’s endpoint strategy, ensuring thousands of devices across Windows, macOS, iOS and Android remain secure, compliant, and easy to use. You’ll help design, deploy, and optimise Microsoft Intune and associated Microsoft 365 services, empowering our colleagues to work safely from anywhere while maintaining the highest standards of security and performance. You will also play a key part in enhancing and maturing our Intune landscape, driving automation, supporting critical incidents, mentoring less‑experienced engineers, and contributing to the continued improvement of Bauer’s global digital workplace experience.

Your Role: You will focus on the end‑to‑end management of Microsoft Intune and M365 services, ensuring devices and applications are deployed, secured, updated, compliant, and fully aligned with Bauer’s global standards. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices through Intune.
  • Application deployment, packaging and patch management.
  • Implementing and maintaining Conditional Access and security policies.
  • Enhancing endpoint security through configuration, compliance and monitoring.
  • Creating, maintaining, and improving Intune architecture and service roadmaps.
  • Providing 2nd/3rd line support for Intune and M365 services.
  • Supporting major incidents and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
  • Integrating Intune with Azure AD, Microsoft 365 and third‑party tools.
  • Producing high‑quality documentation and contributing to change management.
  • Working with Microsoft and partner vendors on feature releases and roadmap updates.
  • Delivering automation through PowerShell and Graph API.
  • Coaching team members and supporting knowledge transfer.

The Skills you will bring:

  • 3+ years’ experience working with Microsoft Intune and Microsoft 365.
  • Strong endpoint management expertise across Windows, macOS, iOS and Android.
  • Hands‑on experience with Intune device compliance, configuration profiles, app deployment and security baselines.
  • Solid experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Strong understanding of M365 services including Azure AD/Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and Power Platform.
  • Knowledge of security principles including MFA, encryption, and Conditional Access.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across devices, applications and cloud services.
  • Collaborative working style and excellent communication skills.
  • Highly organised, analytical, and able to self‑manage effectively.
  • Experience working with SCCM/MECM, Windows Server or on‑premises Active Directory.
  • Experience with Graph API, Azure Functions or Power Platform.
  • Understanding of ITIL, Agile or DevOps ways of working.
  • Experience in multinational environments.
  • German or Polish language skills.
