Our Team: How we enrich everyday life. You’ll be joining our Data and Decision Sciences (DDS) team at the heart of Bauer Media Audio. We’re a collaborative, cross‑functional team working across nine European markets, turning data into actionable insights that drive business growth, improve audience engagement, and enhance operational efficiency. We partner closely with teams across product, commercial, marketing, and finance, ensuring data is not just a support function, but a key driver of strategic decision‑making.
The Difference you will make: As a Data Analyst, you’ll play a key role in helping the business unlock the value of its data, particularly within our competitions and revenue streams. You’ll turn complex datasets into clear, meaningful insights that influence decision‑making and deliver measurable impact. You’ll work with stakeholders across the business to improve performance, identify opportunities, and build scalable solutions that support a growing data‑driven culture.
Your role: You will analyse performance and revenue data, delivering insights and building reporting solutions that support decision‑making across the business. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Analyse revenue, market trends, and operational performance to identify opportunities and risks.
- Create and maintain reporting for competitions data, enabling self‑serve analytics across markets.
- Build and develop dashboards using tools such as Tableau.
- Present insights and recommendations clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Automate reporting processes and improve data workflows.
- Translate business questions into analytical approaches and actionable outputs.
- Support A/B testing, targeting strategies, and ROI/ pricing analysis.
- Work cross‑functionally with product, marketing, and commercial teams.
The Skills you will bring: Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting. Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, querying, and manipulation. Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into clear, actionable insights. Experience working with large, structured and unstructured datasets. Understanding of data modelling, data quality, and data validation techniques. Experience using Python or R for data analysis (desirable but not essential). Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present to non‑technical audiences. Experience working with operational, commercial, or revenue data. Experience in media, audio, or digital environments. Knowledge of A/B testing, experimentation, or statistical analysis. Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery, Azure). Experience contributing to self‑serve analytics environments.
