You will be joining our Cash for Kids team, the official charity of Bauer Media Group. Cash For Kids are a grant-giving charity supporting local children & young people who are affected by poverty, illness, neglect or have additional needs. Cash for Kids North East Scotland supports over 39,000 children each year.
The difference you will make
As a Charity Fundraising Executive you will be building local relationships with businesses, organisations & community groups as well as delivering fundraising events throughout the year. This also includes project managing our annual Mission Christmas campaign, helping hundreds of thousands of children living in poverty across the UK.
Your role
- Seek out new partnership opportunities with local businesses, schools, universities and community groups.
- Develop & build existing partnerships with fundraisers.
- Plan and deliver our biggest campaign of the year – Mission Christmas.
- Ensure that Cash for Kids remains ‘front of mind’ and an integral part of the Bauer Media business locally.
- Make Cash for Kids famous in the area by seeking out media partner & influencer partnership opportunities.
- Keep the local Cash for Kids website & social media platforms updated with engaging content.
The skills you will bring
- A holder of a current, full clean UK driving licence.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint).
- Some previous project/event management experience.
- Organised and accurate with excellent communication skills.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, confident, with a hands-on approach.
- Flexible to work evenings/weekends when required.
Working Pattern/Location
This is a full-time role, Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours a week. We also support a hybrid work model that balances working from home and our office in Aberdeen.
