BAUER Spezialtiefbau GmbH is an international construction service provider whose primary focus is on complex specialist foundation engineering work in difficult ground conditions.

For our subsidiary BAUER Technologies Limited, we are searching for a new team member multi-site based across the United Kingdom as Mobile Welder (m/f/x).

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out welding, burning, fabrication, maintenance and repair works on piling equipment, digging tools and segmental casings according to our standards to ensure safe and efficient site operations.
  • Liaise with Site Management in planning, coordinating and prioritising maintenance and repair activities in accordance with project requirements and site schedules.
  • Ensure all welding equipment, materials and consumables are maintained, inspected and available to support the execution of works on site.
  • Manage, promote and follow all aspects of health, safety and site welfare regulations, maintaining safe working areas and complying with all company procedures.
  • Work independently and as part of the site team to deliver high-quality workmanship, maintain accurate records and support continuous improvement of equipment and processes.

Your profile:

  • Training or education in welding, fabrication, mechanical engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  • Professional experience as a welder within the piling, special foundation, construction or heavy plant industry.
  • Knowledge of piling equipment, ground engineering processes and maintenance procedures relating to special foundation works.
  • Knowledge of HSE regulations and procedures on site, with a commitment to achieving the highest standards of safety, quality and performance.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English, both oral and written, and to work independently as well as part of a team.
