Our subsidiary BAUER Equipment UK represents BAUER Maschinen GmbH in the UK. We are searching for a new colleague to support us as Service Technician – Special Foundation (m/f/x).
Your tasks:
- Commissioning, fault finding, repairs, rigging / de-rigging and maintenance of all types of BAUER equipment on site, at customers' premises or at our own workshop facility in Rotherham.
- Liaise with our customers service staff to rectify faults both on site and over the telephone.
- Liaise with the BAUER Maschinen After-Sales Team to provide feedback from jobsites and to help rectify faults.
- Complete inspection, repair and overhaul of heavy gearboxes including the completion of complex reports and supporting documentation.
- Various other tasks related to repairs, maintenance and spare parts requirements for BAUER equipment.
- Compliance and execution of BAUER standards in the field of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE).
Your profile:
- Possess a thorough understanding of modern mobile Hydraulics and Electrics / Electronics.
- Possess relevant industry qualifications and hold a current CSCS skills card.
- Have previous experience with overhaul and repair of heavy plant gearboxes/planetary reductions.
- Have good literacy and IT skills with the ability to read and produce technical documents.
- Employ good communication skills and a customer focused attitude.
- Have the right to work in the UK and hold a full UK driving license.
- Have a flexible approach to the working day, a willingness to work out of hours and travel around the UK & Ireland as required.
