Reporting to the Digital Development Manager, this is a hands-on role which will play a key role in supporting the transformation of how Bauder uses data and reporting.

Outline of Responsibilities/Duties
- Work closely with the Digital Development Manager to help shape the future of reporting across the business.
- Spend time understanding how teams currently report, what works well and where Power BI could make things better.
- Build clear, useful and engaging Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Support and maintain existing Qlik Sense reporting solutions while helping drive the transition towards Power BI and modern reporting platforms.
- Help move suitable reports from Excel and manual processes into modern Power BI solutions.
- Look for opportunities to simplify, combine, automate or retire existing reports.
- Work with SQL, Dataverse, Salesforce and other business data sources to support reporting needs.
- Support users as new reports and ways of working are introduced.
Platforms & Technology
- Work primarily within Microsoft Power BI and the wider Microsoft data platform.
- Manage Power BI workspaces, datasets, refresh schedules and report distribution.
- Support role-based security, governance and access management within Power BI.
- Work alongside Microsoft Dataverse, Power Platform, SQL and Salesforce platforms where reporting and business applications intersect.
- Contribute to the development of our Microsoft Fabric roadmap, helping shape future data, reporting and analytics capabilities across the business.
- Help establish best practices for report development, deployment and lifecycle management.
Data & Analytics
- Use SQL, Dataverse, Salesforce and other business data sources to support reporting and analytics requirements.
- Design and maintain efficient data models using star-schema and reporting best practices.
- Use Power Query and other transformation tools to cleanse, shape and prepare data for analysis.
- Develop trusted and reusable datasets that support consistent reporting across the organisation.
- Work with stakeholders to establish common KPI definitions, business rules and reporting standards.
- Identify, investigate and resolve data quality issues impacting reporting accuracy and business insight.
- Promote data governance, reporting standards and best practices across the business.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships with people across the business.
- Facilitate discussions to understand reporting challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support the adoption of new reporting solutions through demonstrations, training and user support.
- Challenge existing reporting approaches and recommend more effective solutions where appropriate.
- Maintain clear documentation for reports, datasets, KPIs and reporting processes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting, analytics and business intelligence capabilities.
Key Skills / Qualifications / Criteria
- Proven experience developing reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.
- Strong knowledge of Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Experience developing DAX measures, calculations and KPIs.
- Experience using Power Query for data transformation and preparation.
- Good SQL development and data analysis skills.
- Experience designing and maintaining data models for reporting and analytics.
- Experience working with multiple data sources, including databases and business applications.
- Ability to gather and translate business requirements into effective reporting solutions.
- Strong understanding of reporting best practices, data quality and governance principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Microsoft Dataverse.
- Experience working with Salesforce data.
- Microsoft Power BI or Fabric Certifications.
- Experience with Qlik Sense.
- Experience moving reports from Qlik Sense, Excel or other older reporting tools into Power BI.
- Experience with Power BI deployment pipelines and shared datasets.
- Experience with Azure data services, APIs or external data sources.
- Experience with report security, including Row-Level Security.
- Experience supporting reporting, analytics or digital transformation programmes.
