Reporting to the Digital Development Manager, this role will be responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of Bauder’s Power Apps-led digital reporting and data platforms, supporting Project Live and wider business operations across the Northern Division and Southwest region.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Power Apps Developer with strong Power Platform, reporting, and data skills, capable of translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and user-friendly digital solutions.

The role suits a proactive, hands-on individual comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and engaging with stakeholders across the business.

Outline of responsibilities / duties

  • Software Development
  • Design, develop, test and maintain modern business applications and enterprise software
  • Develop secure and scalable applications using C# and . NET
  • Develop REST APIs and system integrations connecting internal and third-party platforms
  • Design and build Microsoft Power Apps where they provide the best business solution
  • Develop Power Automate workflows to streamline business processes
  • Develop and maintain Dataverse data models and business logic
  • Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions
  • Participate in code reviews, testing and debugging
  • Contribute to application architecture and technical design
  • Support software deployments through Azure Dev Ops and CI/CD pipelines
  • Business Systems & Platforms
  • Develop and enhance business applications across the Microsoft ecosystem
  • Design scalable Dataverse solutions
  • Develop custom business logic and integrations
  • Build reusable software components
  • Improve existing applications through refactoring and optimisation
  • Maintain technical documentation
  • Identify opportunities to modernise legacy applications
  • Reporting & Data
  • Create reusable datasets and semantic models
  • Design reports that support operational and strategic decision making
  • Build data integrations between SQL Server, Dataverse and business systems
  • Assist with Microsoft Fabric initiatives where appropriate
  • Promote good data governance and quality
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather and understand requirements
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Participate in workshops, demonstrations, and user testing activities
  • Support user training and adoption of digital solutions
  • Interface and collaborate with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • General communication via telephone, email, and in person

  • Support the Digital Development Manager in carrying out relevant training
  • Training includes new employees and launches of new and existing software

Tasks include

  • Updating and printing manuals
  • Providing support to project teams where required
  • Other tasks as they arise
  • These activities form part of wider team support and are not the primary focus of the role
  • Governance & Continuous Improvement
  • Support application lifecycle management (ALM), including solution versioning and deployments
  • Follow Digital Team development standards and best practices
  • Assist in maintaining technical documentation and development processes
  • Support the implementation of governance and security standards
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations for improving systems and processes
  • Support future digital transformation and innovation initiatives
  • Key skills/qualifications/criteria
  • 3+ years' commercial experience in software development or application development
  • Strong experience developing applications using C# and . NET
  • Experience working with SQL Server, Dataverse, relational databases and data modelling
  • Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and integrating with enterprise systems
  • Experience working with Microsoft technologies, including exposure to Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse or Power BI
  • Understanding of Azure services, cloud technologies and application deployment
  • Experience using Azure Dev Ops, Git or similar source control and development management tools
  • Understanding of software development best practices, including testing, debugging, code reviews and secure coding principles
  • Experience working within an Agile/Scrum software development environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience documenting technical solutions, business processes and system designs
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and collaborate effectively within a team
  • A proactive attitude with a passion for learning new technologies and continuously developing technical skills
  • A willingness to develop expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform, with full training and Microsoft certification support provided by Bauder
  • Experience developing Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse solutions
  • Experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards
  • Experience developing Azure Function Apps or cloud-based applications
  • Experience integrating with Salesforce or other enterprise business systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric or modern data platforms
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
  • Microsoft certifications in Power Platform, Azure, or Data
