Reporting to the Digital Development Manager, this role will be responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of Bauder’s Power Apps‑led digital reporting and data platforms, supporting Project Live and wider business operations across the Northern Division and Southwest region.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Power Apps Developer with strong Power Platform, reporting, and data skills, capable of translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and user‑friendly digital solutions. The role suits a proactive, hands‑on individual comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and engaging with stakeholders across the business. This role offers the opportunity to shape Bauder’s Power Platform capability and influence the future direction of its digital and data architecture.
Outline of responsibilities / duties:
- Design, build, and maintain Power Apps (Canvas and Model‑driven) solutions
- Take ownership of Power Platform solutions from design through to deployment, support, and continuous improvement
- Support the data modelling, preparation, and management required for reporting platforms such as Power BI
- Manage and maintain Dataverse data models, relationships, and security roles
- Support and enhance digital reporting platforms used across the business
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather, refine, and translate requirements
- Manage and organise reporting and development backlogs
- Ensure reporting accuracy, performance, and usability
- Maintain and update technical documentation, processes, and reporting templates
- Update and maintain company databases and digital systems
- Interface and collaborate with key stakeholders and cross‑functional teams
- Support the business digital reporting and Power Platform strategy
- Define and communicate product and reporting vision where appropriate
- General communication via telephone, email, and in person
- Other duties aligned to the role and business priorities
Training:
- Support the Digital Development Manager in carrying out relevant training
- Training includes new employees and launches of new & existing software
- Tasks include:
- Booking rooms
- Calendar appointments
- Updating and printing manuals
- Training logs
- Providing cover for the Digital Development Manager when required
- Other tasks as they arise
System Software Support:
- Support the Digital Development Manager with Bauder’s digital growth strategy, including introducing and training users on new platforms
- Support Power Automate flow design, development, and maintenance to enable application workflows, automation, and integrations
- Support Power Platform environment management, including solutions, deployments, and release practices
- Support application lifecycle management (ALM), including solution versioning, releases, and environment promotion
- Contribute to Power Platform governance, standards, and best practices across environments and solutions
- Support integrations with internal and external data sources, including Dataverse and SQL‑based systems
- Working knowledge of C#, HTML5 and CSS to support, deploy, and troubleshoot integrated solutions where required (e.g. Azure Functions, custom components, embedded web solutions)
- Work with and understand database technologies, including:
- Azure SQL
- SQL Server
- Microsoft Dataverse
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including its use for data ingestion, modelling and integration with reporting platforms such as Power BI.
- Contribute to optimising Power Apps and reporting solutions for performance, scalability and usability.
Operations Team:
- Ad‑hoc team responsibilities as and when required, including cover for answering other team members’ telephones.
Key skills/criteria (qualifications, experience):
- Significant commercial experience (typically 5–10 years) working with the Microsoft Power Platform
- Strong experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and data‑driven solutions
- Experience supporting data models and reporting platforms such as Power BI
- Working knowledge of C# and HTML5, with the ability to support and troubleshoot Power Platform integrations and related services
- Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, including its role in enterprise data and reporting platforms, is desirable
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g. Power Platform, Azure, or data‑related certifications) are desirable
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to prioritise and control workload
- Excellent communication skills via written and verbal mediums, including a confident telephone manner
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Confident engaging with non‑technical stakeholders and translating business needs into technical solutions
- Ability to challenge requirements constructively and propose improved technical approaches where appropriate
- Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and the Project Live team
- Organisational and administrative capabilities
- Team player with both a proactive and supportive approach
- Understanding of Microsoft 365
- Ability to interpret requirements and communicate instructions clearly and concisely
- Experience implementing change and new processes
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and in a pressurised environment
