We are seeking a Technical Team Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations, performance, and development of the Technical services teams within our Technical department. This role is responsible for managing managers, supervisors and team leaders, to ensure consistent, high‑quality technical support across the business.

About the Role

You will drive departmental strategy, align processes with business standards, lead specification and technical documentation development, and promote continuous improvement. Working closely with Standards & Compliance, IT, HR, Sales, and Regional teams, you will ensure smooth operations, effective risk mitigation, and strong cross‑functional collaboration.

About the Person

The ideal candidate brings substantial management and leadership experience or large teams within a technical services environment, strong knowledge of industry standards and building envelope products, excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, and the ability to solve complex technical and personnel challenges. Emotional intelligence, proactive thinking, and a drive for high performance are essential. Experience in construction or flat roofing is desirable.
