Battlefield Surgery – Glasgow Southside (G42)
Battlefield Surgery is a friendly GP practice near the New Victoria Hospital. We\’re looking for a reliable, friendly and welcoming Receptionist to join our small, supportive team on a zero hours contract. This is a part-time role for 3 months but may be extended beyond this date.
Hours: 0 to 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 6pm. Flexibility to cover annual leave or absence is essential.
Key duties include:
- Greeting patients and handling enquiries
- Booking appointments (in person and by phone)
- Processing prescriptions and registrations
- Supporting admin tasks and signposting patients
- Communicating test results and clinician messages
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a GP practice or hospital reception preferred
- Strong IT and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- A true team player – willing to support colleagues in a friendly way and keep things running smoothly,
- You will have a can-do and helpful attitude
- Knowledge of Vision and Docman systems is an advantage
- Audio typing and medical terminology experience beneficial
