Specialising in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), we produce and supply alkaline batteries and lithium coin cells, with UK-based OEM manufacturing capabilities for both branded and own-label products. We are a leading supplier to major retail chains and continue to grow our footprint across the sector.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced FMCG Sales Executive to join our team and drive continued commercial success. This role will focus on both growing an existing client portfolio and developing new business opportunities across retail, wholesale, and online channels. You will be responsible for selling a wide range of branded, unbranded, and customer own-label batteries. While the role is primarily office/home-based, occasional client visits will be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an existing portfolio of accounts
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through outbound calls and marketing-generated leads
- Present and demonstrate product ranges to prospective and existing clients
- Lead commercial negotiations in line with retail and wholesale standards
- Build and maintain strong long-term customer relationships
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and fulfilment
What You'll Need
- Sales experience, ideally within FMCG or a similar product-based sector
- Proven track record in account management and new business development
- Confident communicator with strong outbound sales and presentation skills
- Strong negotiation and commercial acumen, particularly when dealing with multiple retailers or distributors
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage your own pipeline
- Previous experience selling into retailers, wholesalers, or e-commerce platforms
- Knowledge of battery or consumer electronics sectors (advantageous but not essential)
- Must have full and unrestricted right to work in the UK
- No sponsorship available for this role
- Ability to commute to or relocate near London (N18 2NG) is preferred
