Overview

We are recruiting a Veterinary Surgeon to join our Old Windsor Clinic team of 4 Veterinary Surgeons, 11 Registered Veterinary Nurses and 1 Veterinary Care Assistant. The Veterinary Clinic team is responsible for the health and welfare of all animals across Battersea’s three sites, treating both inpatients and outpatients. Assistance and guidance is provided on all matters of veterinary care to other departments within the Home.

Responsibilities

  • Provide veterinary care to inpatients and outpatients and contribute to the health and welfare of all animals across Battersea’s three sites.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to assist and guide other departments within the Home on veterinary care matters.
  • Support the delivery of high standards of care and assist with the day-to-day tasks required in a busy veterinary environment.

Working with our rescues is a rewarding experience. The role involves handling dogs and cats and may include physical tasks required to deliver exceptional standards of care.
