The Battersea General Store is recruiting a Deli Bar Assistant at London Battersea Power Station.
Job Introduction
We currently have an opportunity for a Deli Bar Assistant to join our Food and Beverage team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join our team.
Role Responsibility
As a Deli Bar Assistant you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with the preparation of food and presentation of counters, ensuring they are maintained and fully stocked
- Ensuring that the kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy according to merchandising standards
- Ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed
- Operating the tills, coffee machine and orange juice machine
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate for this role will have:
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate great team work
- Experience working in a similar environment
- Barista experience but training will be given
- A basic knowledge of food Hygiene and Health and Safety
In this role you may occasionally be required to travel to other locations.
Package Description
Great opportunity to join our catering team as Barista/Delia Bar assistant, this site has a \’One Team\’ ethos, where successful applicants will have a \’can do\’ attitude to all areas of our responsibilities.
You will be required to work 5 out of 7 days and a weekend day will be included.
The shifts are 6.30 to 14.30 or 10.00 to 18.00.
We do ask for you to be flexible with your working days.
Currently we pay national minimum wage but for the right candidate with experience can be discussed at the interview.
