About Us:

Educated Body is a health and fitness company operating in luxury residential and corporate developments. We run luxury health clubs and spas, delivering the highest levels of customer service in beautiful leisure facilities that include a gym, swimming pool, sauna/spa, group exercise programme, personal training, beauty therapy rooms, and wellbeing services.

Your Role:

The Assistant Manager supports the Club Manager and leisure team in delivering a 5*-experience for residents, guests and external contractors. The role blends operational, fitness and customer‑service duties.

  • Support all operational aspects of the club, including quality, customer service, external practitioners, maintenance and health and safety.
  • Lead the Duty Manager team and drive service level performance.
  • Act as deputy to the Club Manager.
  • Open and close the facility, ensuring health and safety checks and brand standards are met.
  • Be the first point of contact for all enquiries, delivering exemplary customer service on phone and email.
  • Prepare reports on usage, member satisfaction, revenue generation and operational performance.
  • Foster a collaborative, service‑driven, wellness‑focused team culture.
  • Motivate and champion the team to increase attendance at wellness events.
  • Report faults or damage to fixtures; liaise with housekeeping and cleaning staff to maintain safety and cleanliness.
  • Prepare and review procedural documents for daily operations.
  • Conduct fitness assessments, prescribe exercise programmes, instruct group exercise classes and promote personal training.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Fitness qualification (minimum Level 2).
  • Previous management experience or equivalent responsibilities.
  • Two years of fitness industry experience, ideally in a 5-star or luxury environment.
  • Experience with swimming pool or pool plant operations.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • RLSS Emergency Responder qualified or willing to undertake.
  • Pool Plant Operator qualified or willing to undertake.
