The Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse is responsible for supporting the Head Nurse in the day‑to‑day management of the clinic, including the management and development of a small team of nursing staff and ensuring all staff work in accordance to the standards and policies set by Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and the RCVS Small Animal General Practice Standards Scheme.
Responsibilities
- Achieve the highest possible standards of patient care with your team through the ongoing review and implementation of nursing policies and procedures.
- Line‑manage your team of nurses and VCA’s.
- Make decisions on all levels of supportive care within Battersea's policies and procedures and update Veterinary Surgeons if additional prescribed treatment is required.
