We give each one lots of love and expert care and get to know their characters and quirks so we can find them a new home that’s just right for them. Our Dog Operations Team is responsible for delivering the highest standards of animal welfare and care for every dog in their journey through Battersea, from intake, to their care and assessments and then to rehoming. We are looking for passionate individuals to join this team as Dog Rehomers to provide the highest level of customer service to customers whilst ensuring the best outcomes for the dogs in Battersea’s care. They will do this by engaging with customers looking to rehome a dog and identifying potential matching dogs, ensuring positive outcomes for both the dogs & customers. They will also support with daily management of dogs and identify suitable rehoming criteria for dogs once they have completed their assessments and create their rehoming profiles, working closely with the Rehoming & Welfare Assistants and Rehoming & Welfare Coordinators in both the public kennels and all other associated areas. Please note that there are 2 roles available: •1x full time: 40 hours per week, contract till 30th June 2026 • 1x part time: 32 hours per week, contract till 31st August 2026 The application form will ask you to indicate which role(s) you wish to be considered for.
