We're looking for 2 part‐time Rehoming & Welfare Co‐ordinators based at Brands Hatch (Kent) on permanent contracts. One position requires 16 hours per week (Dog Rehoming) and the other 28 hours per week (Dog Rehoming & Welfare).

Responsibilities – Dog Rehoming

The Rehoming & Welfare Co‐ordinator (Dog Rehoming) will deliver outstanding customer service to people hoping to adopt a Battersea dog, ensuring the best possible outcomes for the animals in our care. Responsibilities include engaging with customers across all communication channels, carrying out thorough suitability assessments, matching potential owners with suitable dogs, and supporting the wider Customer Service Team with day‐to‐day site administration to keep the rehoming process running smoothly.

Responsibilities – Dog Rehoming & Welfare

The Rehoming & Welfare Co‐ordinator (Dog Rehoming & Welfare) will deliver exceptional daily care, enrichment, and welfare for the dogs in our kennels while maintaining Battersea's high standards of cleanliness. Duties include creating clear rehoming criteria, conducting in‐depth interviews with potential adopters, leading a care group, guiding assessments, and providing warm, professional communication to all visitors and contacts.
