We are looking for 3 part-time Rehoming & Welfare Co-ordinators. Roles are permanent contracts and based at Brands Hatch (Kent).
- 2x 16 hours per week (Dog Rehoming) and 1x 28 hours per week (Dog Rehoming & Welfare).
Responsibilities
- Rehoming & Welfare Co-ordinator (Dog Rehoming) – responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to people hoping to adopt a Battersea dog and ensuring the best outcomes for the animals in our care. You will engage with customers across all channels, carry out thorough suitability assessments, and help match potential owners with dogs that fit their lifestyle and experience. You will also support the wider Customer Service Team with day-to-day site administration to keep the rehoming process running smoothly.
- Rehoming & Welfare Co-ordinator (Dog Rehoming & Welfare) – responsible for delivering exceptional daily care, enrichment, and welfare for the dogs in our kennels while maintaining Battersea's high standards of cleanliness. You will support each dog's rehoming journey by creating clear, thoughtful rehoming criteria and conducting in-depth interviews with potential adopters to assess suitability and identify strong matches. This role also includes leading a care group, guiding assessments, and providing warm, professional communication to everyone who visits or contacts Battersea.
