Neon at Battersea Power Station has quickly established itself as a leading cultural venue in a lively and growing part of Central London. We are immensely excited to bring Ramses and the Pharaohs’ Gold to Battersea for 2026 and in this position you’ll play an integral role in creating an outstanding visitor experience for our guests.
The team of Visitor Assistants for Ramses will be key in maintaining the highest standards of visitor experience and safety across the venue. They will understand our core values and ensure that our visitors and diverse audiences feel welcome and engaged.
- Ensure that visitors feel welcome and engaged with the exhibition and safe in our venue.
- Monitor visitor flow and assist our security team with crowd management during busy periods.
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness within visitor areas, reporting any concerns to the venue housekeeping staff.
- Collaborate with other venue staff to enhance the overall visitor experience.
We’re looking to build a team of motivated staff with a keen interest in delivering exceptional service. If you’ve got experience working in a museum, gallery, tourist attraction or on major events that is a plus however enthusiasm and a love of working with people is key. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment where excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a close team and a friendly manner make a huge difference. Being able to juggle multiple tasks with precision and a keen eye for detail is a must.
We offer a flexible schedule, so be prepared to work weekends and public holidays to ensure our visitors have an unforgettable experience. You’ll be on your feet for most of the day as you help to show visitors through the exhibition. There are various shifts available to accommodate the dynamic operating hours of the Ramses and the Pharaoh’s Gold exhibition.
Full-time (35+ hours per week) and part-time (16+ hours per week) positions are available. Location – Neon at Battersea Power Station, London SW11 8DQ. Contract type – Fixed-term until 3rd January 2027. Reports to – Venue Duty Manager/Head of Venue Operations. Rate - £14.80 per hour.
