Neon at Battersea Power Station has quickly established itself as a leading cultural venue. In this position you’ll play an integral role in creating an outstanding visitor experience for our guests.
Responsibilities- Ensure that visitors feel welcome and engaged with the exhibition and safe in our venue.
- Monitor visitor flow and assist our security team with crowd management during busy periods.
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness within visitor areas, reporting any concerns to the venue housekeeping staff.
- Collaborate with other venue staff to enhance the overall visitor experience.
- Experience working in a museum, gallery, tourist attraction or major events (preferred).
- Enthusiasm and love of working with people is key.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a close team with a friendly manner.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks with precision and a keen eye for detail.
- Flexible schedule, prepared to work weekends and public holidays.
- On your feet for most of the day as you help show visitors through the exhibition.
- Various shifts available to accommodate the dynamic operating hours of the Ramses and the Pharaoh’s Gold exhibition.
- Full‑time (35+ hours per week) and part‑time (16+ hours per week) positions available.
- Location – Neon at Battersea Power Station, London SW11 8DQ.
- Contract type – Fixed‑term until 3rd January 2027.
- Reports to – Venue Duty Manager/Head of Venue Operations.
- Hourly rate – £14.80.
