Responsibilities
- Support end‑to‑end onboarding and off‑boarding processes, including issuing contracts of employment and new starter documentation.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date employee records in accordance with GDPR requirements.
- Monitor and record annual leave, sickness absence, and other statutory leave (e.g. maternity/paternity).
- Assist with payroll administration, including collating and submitting accurate data to payroll providers.
- Support compliance with UK employment legislation and internal HR policies.
- Assist with right to work and criminal record checks and employee documentation.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Manage shared inboxes, ensuring timely and professional responses to enquiries.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes where required.
- Maintain calendars and schedule appointments.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and business documentation.
- Ensure accurate filing systems (electronic and/or paper‑based) are maintained.
- Act as a first point of contact for internal administrative queries.
- Support general office operations and facilities coordination (if applicable).
Corporate Sales Support
- Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate client, prospect, and pipeline data.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, quotations, and service agreements.
- Track sales activity and produce regular pipeline and performance reports.
- Coordinate client meetings, presentations, and follow‑up communications.
- Support lead generation and marketing initiatives where required.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products/services.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative, HR, or sales support role.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or Google Workspace.
- Experience using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) is advantageous.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Basic understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Familiarity with GDPR and data protection principles.
- Awareness of payroll processes and statutory requirements is desirable.
