A bit about us.

Grind is a coffee company that lives in London.

Since opening Shoreditch Grind in 2011, we've expanded across London with cafés, coffee trucks and a state-of-the-art coffee roastery.

Our cafes and coffee shops are the beating heart of Grind, they are where it all began.

We're a bustling hub in the heart of London's most iconic places, known for serving our specialty coffee and renowned bottomless brunches.

A bit about the role.

We're looking for a confident, customer-focused Seasonal Retail Assistant to join our Battersea truck.

This is a sales-led role focused on helping customers discover Grind beyond their daily coffee - from bean to cup and pod machines to beans, pods, subscriptions, accessories and merch.

You'll understand what each customer is looking for, make thoughtful recommendations and spot opportunities to add to their purchase without making it feel like a hard sell.

This role is a 3-month fixed-term contract, with flexibility aligned to our Friday-Sunday opening hours, initially supporting the team during a period of increased seasonal demand.

  • Work towards sales targets including conversion, average transaction value and add-on sales.
  • Keep retail displays stocked, organised and looking their best, supporting replenishment, product availability and smooth day-to-day retail operations.
  • Bringing Always Focused, Never Finished to life through constant improvement, fresh thinking and innovation across every touchpoint of the customer journey.

You’ll have.

  • Previous experience in retail, hospitality, customer service or sales.
