Location: Sherborne, Yeovil, or Poundbury
Salary: From £40,000 (dependent on experience)
Hours: 9:00 am – 5:15 pm, Monday to Friday (Flexible and hybrid working available)
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Property Lawyer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of rural and agricultural property matters, while collaborating with other departments and contributing to the firm\’s continued success.
Responsibilities
- Handling the sale and purchase of farms and agricultural land (private treaty and auction)
- Drafting and advising on deeds of easement and overage agreements
- Providing non-contentious farm tenancy advice
- Collaborating with colleagues in private client, commercial property, and company commercial teams
- Attending networking events and supporting business development initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years PQE with strong transactional property experience
- Knowledge of agricultural property law (preferred)
- Commercially aware with a client-focused approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A team player with a proactive and innovative mindset
