Position: Conveyancing Assistant
Location: Bridport, Dorset, on site role.
Work Hours: 9:00 am - 5:15 pm, Monday-Friday
Salary banding: Β£24,750-Β£28,300
We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a Conveyancing Assistant to join our team in our Bridport office. With a wealth of experience and a stellar reputation in the field, our team comprises professionals ranging from newly qualified individuals to those with over 50 years of expertise, supported by highly skilled staff members. We are seeking an individual who has prior knowledge of the residential conveyancing process to assist the conveyancing department with property transactions. This role will also hold an element of reception cover, meeting and greeting clients face to face and over the telephone, as well as petty cash and stationary ordering. Please note due to the nature of this role hybrid working is not available.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Handling inbound calls and emails from clients relating to initial quotes and enquiries and acting as first point of contact for clients.
- Assist fee earning conveyancing staff with all aspects of property transactions from opening client files to preparing documents, conducting searches through to completion of sale.
- You will liaise and coordinate communication with the internal conveyancing team, estate agents and the other sides legal team.
- Digital filing, typing and keeping the CRM updated and organised.
- This role is a customer facing role, you will need fantastic customer service, face to face, over the phone and via digital communications.
