Batley Multi Academy Trust currently comprises Batley Girls’ High School; Batley Grammar School; Field Lane Junior, Infant and Nursery School; Healey Junior, Infant and Nursery School; Hyrstmount Junior School; Manorfield Infant and Nursery School; Purlwell Infant and Nursery School and Upper Batley High School. The Trust also operates two community centres called The Fields and the Yorkshire Rose Teaching Partnership for adult education and the Smart Academy. We are looking for a Cover Supervisor to be involved mainly in the supervision of classes and to oversee the completion of work by learners in the absence of the nominated teacher. The successful candidate will have experience of working with young people in a school environment, with proven success in using teaching resources and supporting learners.
Educated to A-level standard or equivalent, the successful applicant will have good organisation and communication skills with the ability to work well in a team. The role will involve providing support and guidance to individuals, individual groups or on a whole class basis through curriculum activities. The post will be based at Batley Girls’ High School, however the successful candidate may be asked to work across the Batley Multi Academy Trust family of schools.
