Member Support Coordinator in Portishead

Portishead Full-Time On-site
B

Do you enjoy helping people and building great relationships?

BathCom supports more than 250 independent bathroom retailers across the UK. We’re a small, ambitious team looking for a friendly, organised and naturally helpful person to deliver an excellent experience for our members.

At BathCom, you do not come for the money, you do not come to sell your soul, you come to experience what it is like to help small independent businesses to get an edge, in a world where the little people/businesses are often forgotten about, BathCom helps them to be heard, to be seen, and to be appreciated, and as such, the successful candidate will enter a world where you feel genuinely appreciated for the effort you make.

This role suits someone who enjoys building trust, solving problems and making sure things get done. Great support is not just about answering questions; it is about helping people feel valued, heard and confident they can rely on you. For us, attitude matters as much as experience.

What you’ll do

  • Build positive, trusted relationships with members and help them get the most from their BathCom membership.
  • Respond to enquiries promptly, helpfully and professionally.
  • Help members access information, support and benefits through our platform.
  • Identify and contact potential new members, creating appointments for our National Sales Manager.
  • Suggest ways to improve the support and experience we provide.

What we offer

  • Three fixed working days per week.
  • A primarily office-based role in Portishead, with opportunities to visit members across the UK.
  • The chance to make a genuine difference to independent businesses.

About you

You genuinely enjoy dealing with people and take pride in great service. You listen carefully, communicate warmly and treat others with respect. You are reliable, organised and comfortable taking ownership, using your initiative and following tasks through. You can confidently pick up the phone, ask questions and build relationships, while working independently and contributing to a supportive team.

Experience in customer service, sales support, administration or account management would be useful, but we welcome candidates from different backgrounds. Bathroom industry knowledge is an advantage, not a requirement; your attitude, approach and willingness to learn matter more than a perfect CV.

If you don’t like this job title, because we’re not sure we do either, then it’s yours to change.

So, rather than simply accepting the job title we've given this role, we'd love for you to challenge it!

As part of your application, give this role a name of your own, if you want to!

At BathCom, we believe great relationships make a real difference. We’re looking for someone who shares that belief.

BathCom is not your typical team and probably not your typical job.

If you like the idea of making a real difference, getting involved across different areas of the business and working with people who genuinely pull together, you might just feel at home here.
