Student Recruitment Manager- Schools and Colleges
The Student Recruitment Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the university’s student recruitment strategy. You will lead a team of Schools and Colleges Engagement Officers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality engagement activities that foster meaningful relationships with schools and colleges.
Through strategic planning, data analysis, and team management, you will contribute to the university\’s growth targets by enhancing application growth and conversion rates. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact by shaping our outreach and recruitment activities, managing attendance at key sector and school and college events, and working closely with both internal and external stakeholders.
About the Role
You will lead and motivate a team of Schools and Colleges Engagement Officers to meet recruitment targets and strengthen engagement activities. You will develop and manage relationships with key schools and colleges, serving as a university ambassador.
Responsibilities include planning and overseeing recruitment events such as UCAS exhibitions, HE fairs, and UK University Search events, while using data insights to refine recruitment strategies. You will work with the Student Ambassador Coordinator to support recruitment, training and deployment of Student Ambassadors to support at recruitment and school and college events.
Additionally, you will ensure efficient resource allocation, support the team\’s professional development, and deputise for the Head of UK Student Recruitment when needed.
About You
Essential criteria:
- Experience of successful HE schools and colleges engagement
- Excellent ability to lead a team and identify opportunities for development
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Full UK driving license
Desirable:
- Experience of managing a team within either student recruitment or outreach
Additional Information
Salary Grade 7 – Starting from £38,784 rising to £43,482 per annum. The salary range shows the potential maximum pay progression in addition to any annual inflationary increase to your pay.
