Description

Are you passionate about providing outstanding support to students? This is your chance to be at the heart of student life, delivering excellent customer service and making a real impact. As part of the Student Information team, you’ll be the friendly face of our Student Hubs, helping students navigate university life, processing changes to student records, and guiding them through key processes like Exceptional Circumstances.

About the Role

You’ll be the first point of contact for student enquiries—whether in person, over the phone, or via our CRM system—ensuring every student gets timely, accurate, and helpful advice. Overseeing the Student Hub spaces, you’ll keep things running smoothly, coordinating staff presence and ensuring students always know where to turn for support. You’ll also work closely with teams like IT Services to maintain a welcoming and efficient front-of-house service.

A key part of your role will be overseeing the Exceptional Circumstances process, providing clear and consistent advice to students about how it may impact their studies, assessments, and progression. You’ll review claims across all courses and levels of study, working to set deadlines and ensuring students receive the support they need.

Beyond day-to-day enquiries, you’ll play an important role in major Student and Registry Services activities, supporting Registration, Graduation, and other student engagement activities. You\’ll also contribute to improving the student experience by identifying gaps in information, liaising with teams across the university, and making sure our advice and guidance are always up to date.

About You

We’re looking for someone with strong communication and customer service skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience in administration. You should be confident working independently and as part of a team, with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment. A keen eye for problem-solving and experience with Microsoft Office are essential, and if you have knowledge of university processes or student support services, even better!

If you’re organised, proactive, and ready to make a difference, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now!
