We are currently seeking a Student Accommodation Advisor, who will be working as an integral member of the Student Accommodation team and will be responsible for the planning, preparation, implementation and delivery of the annual cycle of student housing activity.

Within the role, you will support the allocation and occupancy of university residences, provide advice and guidance to students, liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and assist with accommodation-related administration, finance, marketing, and communications. The role also involves promoting accommodation services at recruitment events, supporting students living in university and private rented accommodation, conducting inspections, and contributing to the continuous development of services while ensuring sustainability and excellent customer service remain at the heart of all activities. In addition, you will provide information, advice and support to students living in University accommodation dealing sensitively and confidentially with queries and disputes.

Some out of hours working will be occasionally required, including some evenings and specific weekends during the academic year (for example Open Days, accommodation move in and move out periods). Opportunities to take annual leave during certain weeks in August and September will be limited so that service provision is not impacted. There may be a requirement to work between the University campuses and Accommodation sites. This post is subject to a basic Disclosure and Barring Service check.
