About the Role

  • Deliver well-structured, high-quality teaching that integrates theory with real-world health and social care practice.
  • Facilitate inclusive and engaging learning, supporting students with diverse educational and professional backgrounds.
  • Provide clear academic guidance, particularly around assessment expectations and professional standards in the sector.
  • Undertake fair and consistent assessment, offering constructive, criteria-aligned feedback that supports student development.
  • Contribute to academic quality and consistency, including collaboration with module teams, standardisation, and curriculum enhancement.

About You

  • Strong Subject Expertise – Sound understanding of health and social care systems, policy, and contemporary practice.
  • Excellence in Teaching Practice – Ability to deliver structured, engaging sessions that support progressive learning.
  • Clear Communication Skills – Able to explain complex concepts in an accessible and professionally relevant way.
  • Assessment and Feedback Capability – Skilled in evaluating student work and providing developmental, standards-aligned feedback.
  • Commitment to Student Progression – Focused on enabling confidence, academic success, and professional readiness.
