We are currently seeking an Employer Relationships Manager. Working within the Careers and Employability team, the Employer Relationships Manager (ERM) will play a pivotal role in shaping how we connect with employers and external partners to create meaningful opportunities for our students as they explore, experience and progress towards their future careers. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in an employer‑ or employability‑facing role to lead a portfolio of relationships and activities that directly contribute to improving graduate outcomes.
About the Role
As the Employer Relationships Manager, you will lead and manage a multi-site Employer Relationships team, ensuring clear direction, strong support, and consistent practice across all locations. In this role, you will develop and expand strategic partnerships with employers, focusing on priority sectors and aligning opportunities with student needs. You will oversee a wide range of employer engagement activities, including events, networking opportunities, and curriculum collaboration, while working closely with colleagues across the University to embed employer engagement into the wider student experience. Using data and labour market insights, you will shape strategy, prioritise initiatives, and drive improved graduate outcomes.
About You
- Experience in developing and managing employer partnerships
- Experience of leading a team and supporting their personal development
- Experience of managing a variety of stakeholders both within and external to a university
- Experience of project management and strong organisational skills
- Ability to use data to inform strategic decision making
Additional Information
Salary Grade 7 - Starting from £38,784 rising to £43,482 per annum. Please note: This is a full time, fixed term contract from the 1st June – 21st Dec 2026. The role may require evening or weekend working to support events and travel within the region and to non Bath based campuses. Interview Date - 26th/27th May 2026.
