The University is seeking four new Independent Members of the Board of Governors. We are seeking experienced individuals who can contribute to the strategic debate and add value from a broad organisational perspective, as well as possessing skills relating to the following committees:
- One Member to join the Academic Assurance and Partnerships Committee and the Board
- Two Members to join the Audit and Risk Assurance Committee and the Board
- One Member to join the Finance and Infrastructure Committee and the Board
Academic Assurance and Partnerships Committee: The Committee considers academic assurance and educational partnerships to oversee our education strategy and the effective monitoring of performance. We are keen to hear from individuals who have experience of academic oversight and quality assurance at a senior level in Higher Education.
Audit and Risk Assurance Committee: We are keen to hear from individuals with significant audit and risk-related experience, gained from within any sector. We are seeking two Members to join this Committee, one of whom must be a qualified accountant.
Finance and Infrastructure Committee: This individual must be a qualified accountant and have senior executive experience in complex organisations. Board members are our charity trustees and are expected to align with our values of respect, inclusivity, collaboration, and sustainability.
