B&NES Shared Lives Scheme

We are looking to register new Shared Lives carer households in B&NES. Shared Lives is a service where the carer uses their own home and daily life to provide support to people with eligible needs.

Could you make a difference in your community by welcoming a person into your home? We seek passionate individuals committed to offering high-quality, personalized support. Rates offered range from £14 to £18 per hour across B&NES.

You do not need a spare bedroom to register for day support; suitable facilities in your home are sufficient.

The scheme provides full training, support from a dedicated coordinator, and a thorough matching process with clients.

Significant tax incentives are available, including £18,140 per household annually plus £450 per supported person per week (up to 3 people), income tax-free.

This role can fit around childcare, other employment, or as additional household income.
