Application Details
We are seeking an enthusiastic and flexible team player, who understands the importance of going ‘over and above’. Our children thrive with adults who are friendly, firm and fun, and we are seeking a calm, consistent and committed Early Years Leader.
The working pattern is: 8.00am-4.00pm Mon-Thursday & 8.00am-3.30pm Fridays (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break). This is a term-time only role (+ optional 5-10 days extra days during school holidays).
The setting is open 8.45am-3.00pm (school days only) and there is some flexibility with working hours outside of these times.
The Successful Candidate Will
- Lead the Pre-School team offering high-quality early education
- Manage the day-to-day running of the pre-school
- Plan & Deliver a balanced curriculum using the EYFS framework
- Assess children’s development and use this to plan and deliver sessions & interventions
- Take responsibility for safeguarding alongside the school’s Designated Safeguarding Leaders
- Continue to improve and evolve our Pre-School provision
- Be the ‘Key Person’ for a group of children
- Work closely with our School Early Years Team & SENCo
- Collaborate with our Office Manager around admissions, finance and staffing
- Take the lead in communication and organisation of events for parents
We require a Level 4 or above Early Years Qualification.
