About the Role
This role involves the administration of undergraduate funding awards, including the Bath Bursary, Gold Scholarship Programme and other philanthropic scholarships, supporting the University’s Access & Participation Plan and fundraising objectives. The position is a 7‑month fixed‑term secondment, and can be full‑time (1.0 FTE) or part‑time (0.8 FTE).
Responsibilities
- Lead the administration of all funding schemes, providing guidance and advice to applicants and current students.
- Maintain and improve the University’s Fund Manager system and related student records databases.
- Liaise professionally with a wide variety of stakeholders and interpret complex legislation and financial award frameworks.
- Lead the evaluation, analysis and reporting of under‑represented students supported by bursary and scholarship awards.
- Work independently and collaboratively with the Scholarships and Bursaries Team to meet outcomes in line with the Access and Participation Plan.
