About the Team
This is an exciting opportunity to join our IT Applications Liquidlogic team to support our social care & education applications. We provide a professional, proactive and responsive IT service to end users of the Liquidlogic Application.
About the Role
The post will provide first line technical support and training for the LiquidLogic application answering user queries, dealing with system issues and providing guidance. You will be part of a larger team and work collaboratively with one other senior Technician coaching & mentoring technicians and junior technicians; monitoring the workload of the team and supporting specific projects and pieces of work.
About You
A good understanding of Social Care and Education and working knowledge of LiquidLogic is essential; along with excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have experience of working on a service desk delivering first line support and problem resolution in line with ITIL guidelines. It is desirable to have experience of an IT ticketing workflow system as is experience delivering small group systems training. Candidates should demonstrate they are able to use their initiative & prioritise in a customer driven reactive environment; with a passion for accuracy and attention to detail and excellent communication skills. As this is a senior role you will ideally have supervisory experience with a passion for developing people. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects to introduce new functionality & develop the applications to support high quality service delivery.
Your main place of work will be the award-winning, modern Civic Centre in Keynsham, halfway between Bath and Bristol, easily accessible via car or public transport, with a train station 5 minutes walk away. We operate a flexible working policy here in Bath & North East Somerset with the option to work at other sites or at home.
