We are looking for enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our bank team as Personal Assistants (previously known as Support Workers). You will be supporting a young autistic man living in Radstock on a 1:1 basis. Your support will enable the individual to access a wide variety of activities, such as swimming, disco, sensory therapies and some work experience.

The young man has his own Motability car, so a driver with a clean driving licence is preferable. You will need to be caring and positive, supportive, calm and tolerant, as the person is autistic; therefore, empathy and understanding is essential. You will be working as part of a knowledgeable team of PAs and be supported by our manager. It is our aim for you to be well trained, so previous experience is not essential.

We have a variety of day and/or evening shifts, sleep-in shifts and weekend shifts available:

  • Day/evening 'Bank staff' rate is £15.30 per hour
  • Bank Holiday 'Bank staff' rate is £22.95 per hour

  • Permanent contracts include generous annual leave and pension

You will be required to provide evidence of your eligibility to work in the UK. For further information or an informal discussion, please contact Amanda Osborne by emailing.
