The predicted salary is between 12 - 16 Β£ per hour.
We are looking for enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our team as Personal Assistants (previously known as Support Workers). You will be supporting a young autistic man living in Radstock on a 1:1 basis. Your support will enable the individual to access a wide variety of activities, such as swimming, disco, sensory therapies and some work experience.
The young man has his own Motability car, so a driver with a clean driving licence is preferable. You will need to be caring and positive, supportive, calm and tolerant, as the person is autistic; therefore, empathy and understanding is essential. You will be working as part of a knowledgeable team of PAs and be supported by our manager. It is our aim for you to be well trained, so previous experience is not essential.
We have a variety of day and/or evening shifts, sleep-in shifts and weekend shifts available. Day/evening 'Bank staff' rate is Β£14.70 per hour. Sleep-in 'Bank staff' rate Β£9.00 per hour.
