We are looking for an enthusiastic, practical, and motivated Minor Adaptations Technician to join our busy Community Equipment Service Team, based at Radstock Road Depot, Midsomer Norton. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable residents by helping them remain safe, independent, and confident in their own homes.
About The Role
As a Minor Adaptations Technician, you will carry out a range of minor adaptations in service users' homes across Bath and North East Somerset, including the installation of:
- Grab rails
- Second mopstick stair rails
- External Kee Klamp rails
Working directly with vulnerable residents, you will provide a professional and customer-focused service, responding to queries and ensuring adaptations are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You will be part of a supportive and dedicated team and will work closely with healthcare professionals, social care staff, clients, carers, and family members to help deliver positive outcomes for those who use our service.

- Has practical handyman, maintenance, or DIY experience
- Has the skills and confidence to carry out installations safely and effectively
