About The Role
- Lead and support procurement and contract management activity.
- Work closely with suppliers and colleagues.
- Monitor performance, manage risk and identify opportunities to improve services and deliver best value.
- Line manage a team and work as part of the Strategy & Contracts team at Keynsham Recycling Hub.
- Operate flexibly across Bath & North East Somerset, including from home and other Council offices.
About You
- Strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
- Confidence to interpret contract, financial and performance information and provide clear advice to a range of stakeholders.
- Experience in procurement, contract management, supplier performance or related project work.
- Knowledge of waste, environmental services or public sector procurement is an advantage.
- Ability to build relationships, solve problems and drive improvement.
