About The Role

  • Lead and support procurement and contract management activity.
  • Work closely with suppliers and colleagues.
  • Monitor performance, manage risk and identify opportunities to improve services and deliver best value.
  • Line manage a team and work as part of the Strategy & Contracts team at Keynsham Recycling Hub.
  • Operate flexibly across Bath & North East Somerset, including from home and other Council offices.

About You

  • Strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Confidence to interpret contract, financial and performance information and provide clear advice to a range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in procurement, contract management, supplier performance or related project work.
  • Knowledge of waste, environmental services or public sector procurement is an advantage.
  • Ability to build relationships, solve problems and drive improvement.
