We are seeking to appoint two dedicated, enthusiastic and professional Teaching Assistants to join our vibrant and inclusive school community. These are fixed-term appointments, starting as soon as possible until 31 August 2026, subject to a review of funding and staffing requirements. You will be joining a committed, experienced and well-established staff team within a school that is proud of its Good Ofsted rating and strong inclusive values. The successful candidates will play a key role in supporting learning across the school, leading small group activities and targeted interventions, with a particular focus on supporting pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) mainly with an autistic spectrum condition. You will work closely with teachers, the Inclusion Lead and a skilled support team to help meet the needs of pupils with a range of additional needs, enabling them to access the curriculum, build confidence and achieve their full potential. Some of this work will include one-to-one support to enable children to thrive.
Responsibilities- Support learning across the school and lead small group activities and targeted interventions, with a focus on pupils with EHCPs (mainly autism).
- Work with teachers, the Inclusion Lead and the support team to enable pupils to access the curriculum, build confidence and achieve their potential.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to enable children to thrive.
- Contribute to maintaining a welcoming and inclusive learning environment and high expectations for all children.
- Relevant experience of working with primary-aged children and an understanding of the role of a Teaching Assistant in supporting and maximising learning outcomes.
- Experience of supporting pupils with additional needs is highly desirable.
- Relevant professional qualifications, such as a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent, would be an advantage.
